House Party Addiction! Part 1

Hello friends!

Ania  is here, reporting live from fresh beautiful and charming beach of North Wildwood, NJ

Recently we found ourselves having such awesome time while playing at Wild Russian Summer Parties 2012! Yesterday was the second show we played and it was so cool!!! Both parties were Birthday celebrations for two Russian girls both named Zenia! (is there any other Zenia's that are going to have birthdays soon?! i wonder...)

We love the energy, the vibes, the different languages, all this interesting new people we meet! Mostly Russian students that are spending their summer 2012 here in USA, in Wild Wildwood!!!

There were lots of people, everybody having fun, dancing, singing!

WE LOVE YOU, OUR NEW FRIENDS!!!!
(specail thanks to Zenia Soshkina for pictures!)

Meet our new friends! This is Julia, Zenia, another Zenia (it was her birthday party), and Slava!

Slava and Zenia are our neighbors, they are my favorite girls here !
We love to hang out and play at these parties!

We have played 6 songs, including Holiday acoustic, a new version of Criminals, Disco featuring me on guitar and singing (oh yeah these disco days are HOT), and of course BubbleGum.

The show was very intimate and just enough loud to hear everything clear.

And of course our favorite part was all our new friends dancing (like the speakers were about to fall down from the SHAKE of the room!!!!!) and a lovely light machine that was setting up the mood of a Russian- American spaceship racing to the stars!!

A special and pleasant surprise was to have legendary Chuck Treece at the party too! he is freshly back from his European tour with a band Lemonheads! Lots of cool stories from him!

YEAH, and baby seals were there too!!

GEAR! Orange and Space Echo are hanging out!

Stay tuned for the second part of the story - an inside view of an American of a Russian party!

Dan will explain how he feels about it and I am sure it will very interesting!

All the best, Ania
