Hello to all in this beautiful world! Its Dan here reporting Glen Landing's first blog post of the new year. And also this would be my first ever. Anna has been doing an amazing job figuring out all of these cool ways and outlets to help us spread the word of our little band. When i mean little I mean its only me and Anna. I was told that I could write whatever i want so here we go. My first rant is going to be about Teamwork.
Sometimes its difficult in a once fully artistic setting of writing and jamming songs to start mixing in business principles that artist don't really respond to. Most people in bands traditionally are artists, but with the oh so changing entertainment industry forces us to wear hats we usually would not. I wouldn't wear this hat Anna has on for example. With all the social media outlets for a band to engulf themselves, it seems that if your not using these tools then you are just not using your brain properly. I generally do not use mine properly, hence my first blog post, but that's part of the reason your reading this. There is always a team behind success and I am proud to be on team ANNA! In any team situation someone has to be willing to do the work and someone has to have a fully operational brain for it to work. Plan and Strategie, Seek and Destroy that is our M.O. right now. There is not a plan B.
We are hunkered down and making our plans now for this upcoming year and they are big plans, cause u know it is time for the invasion of Glen Landing. We have come so far from the begining and we now have the confidence from our peers that we have a marketable product. We are in constant thought of asking questions like how can we, when should we, or who should we, and so on...
So with any successful business venture we need the help and guidance of all willing parties and at all times. If you have any ideas of things that we should be doing or something we arn't doing right, please enlighten us with your information. We are sponges that take it all in and appreciate the time and effort of all the people that help us out.
